Woodgraining and faux wood may be painted on just about any substrate from floors, walls, ceilings, and furniture to metal doors, window frames and concrete. It can transform a humble material, imitate wood species that are no longer available or too costly, and also just change an outdated  look and feel of a room without the construction costs of removing old wood or adding new.
